CookiesThe world is shrouded in a simple cloak. What does that cloak encompass? What does that cloak contain? Most people tilt their heads in awed fascination and never realize they are stubbing their toe among the concrete edge. They don't seem to realize the cloak is a dingy clothe, shielding our eyes from the monstrosity. The over all gloom, despair, horror and anxiety; the monumental grotesquity. Blood, gore, doom and death; withered children, beating breast; rolled back eyes and silent chest.
I made cookies today. They are simply charming, even though a neighborhood cat stole one.
